Volunteer FAQ's
How do I volunteer with set up & tear down?
Being a portable church, Set up & Tear down crew is vital to our success. If you’d like to be a part of this crew you’ll be scheduled to either Set Up or Tear Down, never both. We meet every Sunday morning at 8am for set up, and directly after service for tear down. If this is the crew for you please click the volunteer button below.
How do I volunteer with kids?
Serving in Common(s) Kids is far more than babysitting. Our ministry has the opportunity to make disciples, starting with our very youngest attenders. We are creating experiences for them to learn who Jesus is and walk closer to him. Join us on this mission to serve the children of our church, along with the families who bring them.
How do I volunteer with music?
The goal for Common(s) worship is to create a space for everyone to worship God in His house. So even if you’re in the beginning stages of learning an instrument, or maybe you have stage fright but know this is the crew you’re supposed to be a part of, we want to get to know you! We want to be with you on your journey. So, if you have a gift for playing or singing, this is the crew for you!
How do I volunteer with production?
If you prefer a more behind the scenes approach to serving, the Production Crew is where it’s at. We believe in creating an atmosphere, that is comfortable for believers and non-believers alike. The Production Crew, is in-charge of: the sound, lighting, lyrics, and video. So, if you have a knack for technology, this is the place for you.
How do I volunteer for first impressions?
Members of the First Impressions Crew, are those who are always ready to put their fears aside and make connections with everyone and anyone coming through the doors of Common(s) Church. First smiles, first hand shakes and first conversations will make or break new comers’ interest, so it’s imperative that the first impressions crew is there greeting anyone and everyone walking through the doors, with a warm and welcoming attitude and environment.
